Ok, Here's another one.
In 1988 GM introduced a two seat car that cost more than a corvette, Featured a body that was hand finished off site by Dupont, was then had assembled by teams of two to three men in Stalls instead of an assembly line. It was the last "hand built" car by GM. It was also the first GM car that had standard Remote Keyless entry. Total production was less than 22,000.
I've owned two of them, and they are quite weird to say the least. I love them though.
