First of all, WELCOME!!!
Your questions are valid, and most have been discussed at length in other posts. You may want to try the search function at the top of the screen.
But here is a short response....
Most people that purchased before 2004, paid sticker price, and some paid above that. Incentives have dropped the price quite a bit. You can currently buy a new vehicle for right around $30K. Payments are all over the place, based upon trade in, cash down, etc.
Insurance rates are also all over the place, based on age, location, and driving history. Mine personally did not go up much from a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse, until I had an incident that took out two wheels and tires. That gave them the excuse to hike it up.
This is not a 4WD vehicle, but if you buy some snow tires and use common sense, it will get you through the winter. I was good for all but 2 days.
The styling and handling is what attracted most buyers, and are still favorite points.
There was a list of things that people thought should be on the car, all of which were personal comfort items.
Regrets? NO WAY!!! This is the best and most fun car I have ever owned.
Go buy it.......
