You are close, but it was not the Metro/Swift. It was that size however. The Metro/Swift did of course have the 3 Cylinder Engine, but they offered a 3 Speed Automatic, not a CVT, and didn't offer Part Time 4 Wheel Drive.
Hint: It was sold from 1989-1993
