With just under 2,000 miles now, I am averaging about 21MPG. That's on premium 93 Oct, mostly city driving, and rarely making any attempt to be conservative. I tried to shift at 2,500 rpm in town for awhile, but it just felt silly and now I'm usually over 3,000. Like many before have said, life is about more than MPG! And this is coming from a guy who was hesitant to buy a XF because it required premium gas!

Since it has been hotter than Hades lately, my A/C is almost always running...
