How long have you had the car and how long has it been popping out of gear? They should have
fixed it the first time you took it in with no questions asked. It is a difficult issue to replicate... and
is well documented with a TSB out on the subject.
What are they going to do about the rear end noise?
I've had the transmission and rear end replaced on my car. Good luck with yours and let us know
how it turns out. And relax, it's only a car...
Yup, it's an early build 2004, but the dealer would do no repair without replicating the problem, as if I would purposely allow them to work on my car if I didn't have to. They also won't fix the axle whine because it's not loud enough and, get this, they want to fix the hatch rattle with foam tape. You have to keep your sense of humour when dealing with Chrysler service.
