Anyone ever seen the little 'L' and 'R' written on the corner of the headlamps, on the L (left) and R (right) side respectively?

It looked like a magic marker or paint marker, very small letters, hand written on each headlight...

Wasn't sure if that was an assembly deal or if it was from something else.
