I agree, I have 1995 Dodge Dakota 4X4 purchased new and It just passed 200K miles. The only things major that have been replaced are the water pump, an EGR valve (3 weeks ago to pass smog), a starter, two batteries (both blew up interestingly enough), and a fan belt. Still has original hoses but they are ready to be replaced. Still bone stock except for the radio.
I still drive the crud out of that truck. I just hauled a fridge at lunch for a co-worker.
Now its a part runner for the XF. I've spent more money in aftermarket parts in the last 2 mos for the XF (aka "The Toy") then in 12+ years (excluding 4 sets of BF Goodrich AT tires) owning my truck.
