Go for it TimeLord! I'm expecting some serious smoke from that SRT to give those tyres a good send off.
And thanks for the encouragement, we all love our Crossfires for different reasons, I just happen to enjoy every single aspect of it from just sitting looking at to exploring the absolute limits of its performance.
In response to VALKRYDERGUY, if had no respect for my Crossfire why would I:
1. Borrow the equivalent of my annual salary to just to be able to buy it.
2. Choose it as my daily transport.
3. Constantly explain why, as a car enthusiast, I bought an 'American' car and not a 'proper driver's car' like a 350Z, RX8, Z4, Boxter, Elise, VX220, Subaru...
4. Have kept my car's appearance true to the original design and not compromised the purity by fitting aftermarket wheels, chrome accents and the like. (No offence to those that have, its just my personal taste).
5. Have not messed around with the interior fitting mismatched shift *****, wood, carbon fibre, bits that ruin the design's flow (Again, my own taste}
6. Park it at the other end of the car parks to avoid getting it scratched.
7. Not fitted alternative emblems to disguise the fact that it is a Chrysler. I'm proud its a Chrysler Crossfire!
8. Spend hours in the evening answering emails from other owners around the world.
9. Fund my own Crossfire website.
10. Take the time to post information up here that I think may be of use to other owners.
11. Try things out on my car so others don't have to.
12. Spent 1,000's on hardware and software diagnostic development tools.
13. Spend nearly every weekend washing, polishing waxing the body work, vacuuming the interior and rectifying small paint defects. 6th monthly clay barring etc.
14. Live with 800 GBP a year on insurance.
15. Live with <30MPG at 50GBP a tankful.
16. Drive 1,000's of miles across Europe in it each year supporting McLaren Mercedes.
17. Drive it in club sporting events including autosolos and autotests.
18. Drive it on trackdays, nearly always as the underdog, until people realize how fast a Crossfire really is!
19. Frequent and generally support this forum...
