Then, post a reply and let us all know where you prefer to meet up with the group and whether you're going all the way to Monterey with us so we can add you to the drivers lists below.

:arrow: 2. 9:15am Arrive and leave Oxnard meeting place. Meeting place is parking lot of Best Western Oxnard Inn, 1156 S Oxnard Boulevard. It's on Highway 1 (Highway 1 is called Oxnard Blvd there) just north of Pt Mugu and Port Hueneme, and just south of the 101 and 34 highways.

:arrow: 3. 10:05 Leave Santa Barbara meeting place. Meeting place is Doubletree Hotel Parking Lot. To get there, take 101 North to Cabrillo Blvd., left exit off the freeway, left onto Cabrillo Blvd., right into the hotel parking lot. Address 633 E. Cabrillo Blvd. From there we will all drive along the ocean front in Santa Barbara (where on Saturdays there is an art festival). Then, we will make a right onto State Street, (the main street in Santa Barbara where EVERYONE is out shopping on a Saturday morning) and left onto Carillo St. which leads straight back to the 101.

:arrow: 4. 12:20pm Arrive and leave Pismo Beach meeting place. Meeting place is F. McLintocks Saloon & Dining House, 750 Mattie Road. Take Shell Beach exit off the 101 and go one street inland to Mattie Road. Look for the BIG goldminers statue in the parking lot. From there, we'll drive through downtown San Luis Obispo to stop for some quick munchies (possibly Jamba Juice at 17 Chorro Street) and then it's on to Highway 1 for the most beautiful part of the drive along the ocean.

:arrow: 5. 5:00pm Arrive and leave the park entrance to go on the 17 Mile Drive. Park entrance is north on Highway 1 through Carmel, past Rio Rd, past Ocean Ave, to the top of the hill. Exit onto Highway 68 towards Pacific Grove, left. After 68 goes over Highway 1, turn left to the Pebble Beach entrance gate. CGates has let us know they charge $8 a car.

From here, it's easy to cut back to the 101 for a "straight shot" drive (vs winding highway 1) south back to Los Angeles...about 7 hours drive.
