Question Oil Filter For SRT6 Same As regular Xfire?

I just got back from the first oil change at the local dealership, 2,042 miles on the clock. I had always had them do my '04 coupe since that is where I had leased it from. But this time the service manager came and got me and said "we may have a problem, I don't think we have the right oil filter for your SRT6" and also stated that he didn't want to put the old one back in and that he didn't want to get one from a auto parts store. Then one of his guy's came over and said that the computer had referred him to the regular Xfire's oil filter. The guy pulled the new filter and brought it out to the car and we compared the two filters, the new one had what looked like a rubber washer on each end of it and the one they pulled out did not. I asked the guy that pulled the filter out if he had removed the rubber washers from the old one and he said no that's the way it was when he took it out. I looked down in the filter housing and there was a place for the rubber washer to fit into, but there was no old washer in the housing nor the cap. They went a head with the oil change and I was glad to see they done it the old fashion way, lifted it, took off the belly pan and pulled the plug. So, does anybody have opinion on this or no for a fact that they are the same filters? I'm wondering if they forgot the rubber washers at the factory when the car was built.
