Crossfires have the FSS system...basically the car tells you when it's time for routine service (oil changes and the like). For the most part it's about 7,000 miles if you drive like an animal, 10,000 if you are more mellow.
I've never had anyone else work on my car, but from what I understand routine maintenance at the dealer is around $140 and up. I do my own maintenance, it's usually around $70 for a new filter and oil!
