really, the term started with motorcycles. back in the 60's, harley riders were not the rich doctors, lawyers etc that they are today and they disparaged the japanese bikes by calling them rice-burners. of course, they had to say that while they were sitting on the curb trying to fix their bikes, or at least get them to run. times have changed now and harley davidson does make a very fine mid-60's motorcycle :lol: :lol:

the japanese, of course, never made one that ran on rice. water, tho, is still possible :shock:

dan...why do harley riders travel in packs??? someone has to go for parts!!
