Question $26,900 for a '05 Crossfire SRT6???

Hello, I'm looking at buying a 2005 Crossfire SRT6 Roadster with 17k miles and it great looking condition from a dealer with a "Sale" sticker price of $28,900. We asked our sales guy to have them give us a better price. The car has been on their lot for over 2 months and I gave them several other reasons from having to find a "certified" Crossfire Technician to work on a "discontinued" model, to, they can't offer a "Certified Chrysler Warranty". So when our sales guy returned back to us after we sat around for about a 1/2 hour, and they weren't busy at all (I believe they were looking up more information on this make and model) he returned with the same figure of $28k. To cut it short, we spent about 1 1/2 hrs there and finally left. When I returned home I had an email from the sales guy stating that they are will to take it down to $26K.
So this is where I am asking if this is a good deal or not. I've done a little research on this car. And am a bit nervous about getting a car that was hard to sell and don't make anymore. But after driving it today, I fell in love. Any advise out there would be appreciated.
Thanks.
