It's a comprehensive claim, doesn't go against you and I can assure you the pits were caused by rocks hitting the windshield which is a covered claim. While I don't agree with Arcrist's suggestion, I'm an insurance agent, I would turn it in and tell your insurance company rocks hit the windshield.
Fraudulent claims are what makes everybody's insurance go up.
