Sounds like I'm doing everything right but getting no beep or update to 6,000/7,000 miles. It currently reads -177. I've read in the manual that sometimes the FFS system will switch to "days" before service instead of miles. Could this be the problem? If so, maybe it's already been reset. The previous owner put over 3,000 miles on the car in only 10 weeks. Do you know if it could be in that "days" mode instead of miles before service? I didn't see anything in the manual explaining the causes of why it switches modes.
