Respect is earned, however, a lot of people never got that message. If something is done well, it is easy to respect the work and those who create it. Conversely, no one is driven to respect anything that does not earn their personal approval.
Having said all that, this is not about respect, it is about taste and just like music, food, films, art, we are all entitled to say something suxxx.
