So I still wasn't satisfied after cleaning it with Brasso, because I searched the forums and saw...

Anyways, I broke out the Brasso again and this time a Dremel tool with the polishing attachment and cleaned and polished it using the Brasso as the lubricant/polish/cleaner. It took out even more black gunk... (I actually don't think mine has been cleaned in 3 years and I'm the first one to ever clean it).
