i had this issue. its gonna sound outa whack but it works. get 1,500 grit sand paper wet sand the lamps, then throw some liquid compound(found at local autoparts) rub it in. then use 3,000 grit sand paper wet sand it. then use the compound again buff it out with clean cloth good as new.
