My "local" 1/4 mile is almost 150 miles away, but I wanted to correctly input the data so my gtech was accurate. You need a 1/4 mile slip to accurately figure your pitch factor, if memory serves
From what I read in the link I posted, it's normal for the meter to show a lower H.P. & TQ numbers than you would see on a dyno. It's because you are actually cutting through the air with a lot of resistance and also your tire's are not on smooth drum roller's. And on the 1/4 mile slip, your time starts as soon as you move, were the meter doesn't start until you have moved 12".
