I had done some research on these units yesterday and from what I had read they are very accurate, but you need to know your car's exact weight. Lucky for me I live in farm land USA so I had a choice of four different places to stop and weigh my car yesterday on my way home from work. The car's weight without me in it was 3,070 pounds, has anybody else weighed their car if so what did it weigh?
$169 for a Gtec no way, if your referring to those on ebay then all I can say is stay away from those. If you go to g-tecs web site they will go into more depth as to why you shouldn't purchase the ebay g-tecs.
As for being accurate, yes they are, more accurate than dynos.
