Reluctantly, I've actually put all my hockey gear + sticks in my *roadster*. I just use a stick bag to keep the sticks from messing up the interior and follow the leg area method mentioned above (except I insert through the drivers door since I have no hatch). The gear itself is a much bigger hassle in the roadster - I have to remove each piece from my bag and insert them into the trunk one at a time, and then throw the emptied bag in last. You get the idea. Crazy as it may seem, I've actually managed to fit everything in with the top down! It was just too nice of a day to not go topless.

Basically, I avoid using the crossfire for going to my hockey games, but have been forced to a couple times over the past few years when my wife worked too late to steal her car.
