I have an '04 crossfire. Radio reception was pretty good at the beginning. Not as good as other cars in hilly or remote areas.

Recently, the a.m. reception became intermittent. Going to work it was fine. Coming home it was not. Pretty soon, the a.m. was terrible all the time, unless I am very near the location of the station.

Had Chrysler check it out. They said everything is fine. The pulled out the radio and ensured the antenna was connected. It still does not work.

I suspect the connection between the rear window and the radio is bad. I had air-line issues that went through the same part of the rear hatch (frequent bending of rear lock's air line caused it to tear, allowing air to escape rather than unlock the hatch).

I'm trying to disassemble the console and accessible antenna lines myself. Not much luck yet.
