If you want the Chrysler warranty, I was told you have to get it from the Chrysler/Dodge dealer who sells the used vehicle to you. They said I can't buy private party and get the warranty from Chrysler. There are a lot of aftermarket companies that will. There are advantages to both.

You have to make sure the aftermarket company is legit and has a good record. If so, they usually let you take it to places other than the dealer.
