And to help clarify some more or add to the confusion I think that the mileage has a lot to do with which warranty you are able to purchase. I wanted a 7/70 MaxiCare warranty but (I think) because I was over 36,000 miles I was only able to get the "used car" 5/50 Maxicare warranty. Again, that was from the date I purchased the car not the in service date so I think it worked out very well - my warranty actually covers me to 94,000 miles! I believe that the previous post regarding it has to have less than 45,000 miles to get any warranty, from Chrysler at least, is correct.
