this is caused by a bacteria infection in the eye... usually with soft contact wearers (which i am)...

i have lost nearly all vision in my right eye ... and was bed-ridden wednesday & thursday due to the excruciating pain. the pain has since gone away but the vision has not returned as of yet. i visited my optometrist immediately at the onset of my blurred vision... i was put on antibiotic (drops) on tuesday... with no improvement... on friday i was sent to an ophthalmologist (same findings) and introduced to steroids (drops) and a revised antibiotic.

another follow-up appointment tomorrow (sunday)... they say i will get my complete vision back. but as expected, i'm quite worried.

i was wanting to know if anyone else has experienced this in the past.
