for any soft contact wearers... be sure to remove your contacts nightly (even if contact company states otherwise)... this will eliminate the chances of this happening to you.

i was removing mine weekly for cleaning and apparently this wasn't enough.
I used to wear contacts, and I would leave them in for a week or two at a time with no problems. I got intralasik when I was 21 and would recommend it to anyone who is a candidate. It is actually cheaper in the long run, and it makes your life much easier.
