One can purchase 6" and 10" "Block Foam" from the local furniture repair shop. Have them cut it to size and cover it with a non-slip fabric. You would have to specify the shape to cover the floor and not leave a gap between it and the seat, but this would "level the playing field" for Bowzer. My Rottie (145 lbs) WANTS to go with, but opts for Moms' Tahoe everytime. He doesn't like to be that cramped. BEST of Luck!
