Like he said. You lose NOTHING with an aftermarket deck unless you choose otherwise, the factor amp works just fine with an aftermarket headunit. A good quality aftermarket will provide you MUCH more capability and a MUCH better listening experience. If you want the stereo to come alive, do the speaker wiring mod that is stickied in the Audio and Electronics section and put a good headunit in. I'm telling you it will the best thing you ever did and you will get your full iPod integration...
