Hmm, that's interesting. Perhaps MB does things differently. I've worked on many cars, and have never seen that happen before. My Neons, Celica and RX-7 all went back to the correct mileage after being redone...

I wouldn't worry too much about the difference in mileage. As long as you plan on keeping it for a while. The only way that would be a problem is if it went back to a lower mileage than when you bought it. Technically the dealer ship should have put a Odometer Replacement disclosure somewhere on the car with the mileage at the time it was pulled out.
