Default service contract

texex, et al.

I got a letter in the mail today f rom Service Contracts, which is a subsidiary of DC. There are things you must do to get a loaner. First, it is a loaner allowance of $30 per day, to a max of 5 days for one service incident. There are steps you need to go through each time to access the service, and there are some restrictions (all reasonable). I have actually been assigned a service contract number that I am to provide every time I need the loaner. I sure my dealer will hand me the keys to a clapped out Neon and put in for the $30 from DC.

Now, your dealer may simply give you a loaner anyway without going through the whole deal.

My letter was signed by Ann Tomlanovich, Director of DaimlerChrysler Service Contracts. 1 800 521 9922 in USA. 8:30 am to Noon and 1 to 5 pm eastern time.

Give a call, I'm sure they'll hook you up.
