i've been starting to get impatient with the work so i called him up,
he doesn't have car insurance now because he lives on campus and can't bring his car there until he's a junior.

so looks like i'm in a pickle here. i've been going insane not being able to drive for a month and the car is still sitting in the driveway un-fixed.

i'm gonna just have it towed to an auto body and get an estimate on the cost of repairs. i've been saving a ton of money just from not driving for a month so hopefully i'll be able to just take the hit and move on. ($600 from canceling insurance for 2 months, $500 from prorating my extended warranty on my trade in, and the obvious gas money that i'm not spending. which i'd say is probably around $300).

so i'm hoping that it won't cost me more than $1,200 to fix but that's looking like a long shot.
