A complete step down IMO. The GTO was the biggest flop since the Edsel. It was rushed to market to fill a niche. As many stated, it won't handle anywhere close to the Crossfire. There was a father and son at my SRTTE. The father just got a Charger and the son was tagging along and paid the fee to drive the SRT's. He had a GTO. After we gave him crap like the Cavalier jokes, he keep saying, well, it has LSD, etc. After driving the SRT's, he was going home to sell his Goat! He couldn't believe the differences on the handling and even how they were easier to launch at the drag strip portion. Whatever, you made your decision. But, I wouldn't be surprised if you become disappointed pretty quickly.
