Ok, I know this has been talked about to death, but how many of you have noisy valve trains/injectors? I listened to another SRT-6 tonight and I could barely hear it running. If I stand outside with it running, I hear ticking under the hood coming from the valve covers. Could be injectors, but the one I heard tonight barely made a purrr. Also, under my engine compartment, I hear ticking that sounds like resonance in the exhaust, not quite an exhaust leak, but close. All of this noise is annoying. I'm not familiar with this Mercedes drive train. I've heard people say it is normal, others argue that it's not. None of the ticking noises are excessively loud, but they are very audible. Almost sounds like a diesel. Seriously. Doesn't sound like one bad lifter, or a valve guide going bad, just rattely. The dealership of course says there is nothing wrong with the car. Anyone?

P.S. The car only has 12k miles on it.
