Well, the story goes that MB did not want the SRT6 making the same #s as the SLK32 AMG, so they downplayed the #s. Over at SRTforums, a SRT guy w/DCX said that the engines are exactly the same and basically verified the rumor of shorting the #s.
Renntech said in an email (on here somewhere) that the cams are different between the SRT6 and the C32/SLK32 engines. To my knowledge, no one has verified that.
IMO, the engines are all exactly the same. Exhausts are different though (which we know).
