the magnaflow loses points for its welds ... pretty sloppy from what i have seen ... their exhaust tips are great though. the lack of a true dual exhaust and x pipe are disappointing but considering the cost increase in doing it that way understandable.

overall i think they offer a great system for nearly 400 shipped ... but it could be done better i am sure by the right shop for a tad more.
I get really good prices on Magnaflow tips, will check into Corsa as they have sponsored exhaust on some of our cars and they are only 1.5 hours away in Cleveland area.

Magnaflow welds are machine welds, hence how they can keep the price down. Obviously ours are hand welded, sometimes we grind flush, sometimes not, depends where it is. We are looking for a TIG machine which makes beautiful welds, but won't be till later this year. Some want polished out welds, some don't care as long as they are clean.

The 409 SS Magnaflow uses (cheapest SS costs) also reflects on the welds, they don't clean up well, and of course since it is magnetic (ferrous) SS, they do rust.

Just had to weld a hanger back on the Magnaflow on my RumbleBee as it is in a high stress area, and the 409 is soft/weak and more prone to breakout after welding.

Suggest up part numbers for mufflers and tips so I can see what they look like and seek them out.
