I seriously considered a GTO when shopping for my next car. The two deciding factors for me were handling and price...

I couldn't find a low mileage GTO for what I wanted to spend ($21K). And the two I drove (1 manual, 1 auto) didn't handle to my minimum standard and I didn't want to through money at the suspension straight off. I was also looking a '03 - '04 Cobras, but after driving one for a day I decided I would rather have a root canal everyday than drive an old body Mustang... The interior of them is TERRIBLE! And the Seats are the WORST EVER!

If you nee the extra space and aren't into road/autox racing then you probably made a good choice for your situation. I for one just LOVE tiny sports cars. I also currently own an S2000 and have had several RX-7s, a Miata, an SLK and a Z3 Coupe. It's all or nothing for me. I want tow purpose built sports cars and a Big Caddy in my garage.
