Yeah, it's a bit of a trick to do, but you can do it. I'm convinced the car 100% fine. Runs too good not to be. Mine isn't that bad though. It doesn't sound like a diesel, and I can't hear it at all aside from idling with the windows down. Drive thru's aren't a problem either. Maybe some are louder than others. I've never been around another one to compare.
