The V8 engine is really neat. Instead of a 90 degree V it is a 60 degree V8 which makes is very compact. It is built by Yamaha and is based on the Yamaha built Ford Taurus SHO V8 from a few years ago. I wouldn't be surprised if that engine doesn't show up in the new Taurus (Volvo Based) in a year or so.
