The transmission is electronically controled. Part of the remapping of the ECU to enhance performance the shift points are optimized and the line pressures are increased. This causes much more crisp shifts and the higher line pressure reduces slippage in the clutches. It doesn't really change the torque converter lockup. It's great the way it is. Without any numbers from DC on the converter I would guess, by the way it feels, that this is somewhere aroung a 2,400 rpm converter.
