Re: headlight covers
make headlight covers look like new. first, is the problem condensation, or sun light.
in my case, it was sun light. next, rub your finger across the cover. if, top to bottom, everything is very smooth, (very) then the problem is inside the cover. however, if you feel rough areas on the cover, this is caused by sun light. you can make your headlight covers look like new with Griots glass polish and a cheap buffer. if the damage is "deep" it will take at least 10 applications of the polish and buffing. go slow...it may take only 5 applications but, take your time. i was thinking about new head lamp units...at $442 each...now my car looks new for less than $20. btw. 3M professional rubbing compound is great for removing spots from bird droppings. only use by hand...again...take your time...
