After 3+ years of wanting a Crossfire, I finally bought my '04 Blaze Red Limited coupe last month. I've been a huge enthusiast of the car ever since they came out, and owning one has lived up to and beyond my dream so far! I went to show my parents the car the day after I bought it, and made my Dad go drive the car and tell me what he thought of it. We're both big car enthusiasts, but appreciate very different types of cars. I joked with him that if he drove it he'd show up with his own one day. Sure enough, he called me this evening to say he was driving home an '05 black SRT-6 Crossfire coupe! I never thought the day would come when my Father and I would like the same car, much less drive the same one. I've always been a fan of European cars (I've owned 2 DeLoreans), and my Father has been an American Muscle car guy (he's owned his '69 Boss 302 Mustang for 35+ years now). We have extremely different personalities and tastes. My Dad is not a whimsical person in the least, but after he drove my Crossfire he was instantly bit by the bug like I have been for years. I'm 25 and he's 53 and we both drive the same car, how cool is that? I've driven at least a half dozen Crossfires since '04, auto and 6-speed, but have never driven an SRT-6. I absolutely cannot wait to drive an SRT-6! Sorry to ramble guys, I'm just so excited and proud for my Dad!
