I did that a few times in the first week of ownership, but it hasn't been an issue since. Also, the throttle response took some getting used to compared to the old Miata but I've got it figured pretty well now. You just need to be more aggressive on the loud pedal, especially during downshifts. I had been contemplating the Sprint Booster but don't think I need it now.
