I kept trying to start it but nothing would happen at all. It wasn't responding. Then a good 10 to 15 minutes later it turned on again. Then the next day the car drove fine the whole day but later on when I was leaving and the car was parked in the driveway like an hour and when I tried to start it nothing would happen at all. This is a common Mercedes problem. You can go to any Autozone and they will scan the tripped codes for free. You will probably find out that it is a crankshaft position sensor. This is easily changed if you work on your own car. Total cost to do it yourself is about $80. The cost to have the dealer do will be close to $300.
To do it yourself, you will need a torx screw driver and about 10 minutes of your time.
