Default Re: About to Buy a Xfire

Thanks For The Info, The LPW is not a high priority only for the reason the resale I predict will be well for the car itself once we look back at the history of this car will be like when they become a rare dinosaur, then everyone will financially respect the vehicle for supply & demand value, so a LTW will not be a selling feature, and I doubt I'll have the car forever, hopefully a good long time though, I feel that this will be the best deal I have struck in a long time on a new car, I have seemed to soft committed to a white roadster w/ vanilla gut 6 speed & no nav w/ 80 miles, or a yellow auto roadster w/ vanilla & nav, If all permits I'll have it Wednesday.
A short story... On good new car deals, in late 2000 I found one freezing cold evening on Long Island at Mcnamara Buick Pontiac a white Bonneville 20 Mi SSEI Max loaded, HUD Moon roof, Tan Leather, not a thing missing MSRP $34,XXX, the window showed 1998, Well I ran to the showroom and the only one there was the Sales Mgr, inquired and said give me price, Its gotta go, Not knowing what to offer, I put the ball in his lap and he said I'll do it for $20,5... Warranty started that night 3/36 that car had zero lot rot and was factory fresh, it missed factory rebates 2 model years and no one bought it cause the $ was too high and missed first incentive for a late '98, sold that baby 1 1/2 years later with 5k Mi for 2,500.K more than I paid though a private sale. The XF will repeat that and then some so I see into the future with a wise investment, and as we no vehicles are not investments, but that sometimes is arguable.
So... white 6 spd or yellow automatic? Hard decision!
