It’s a toy, and you can't sell something to someone that they don't need. For me a Crossfire would be the same as my C5 Corvette or Ducati 916. (I'm 6'5", I can drive my Fathers SRT-6 when I want, but could never own one) You don't need it, but you want it. Its something that makes you smile just looking at it in the garage. High pressure has never worked for me or on me. As for the prices on the service contracts, that blows me away. How could a dealership be so stupid to think that in this day in age with the resources that we all have, that people wouldn't find out they had been taken advantage of?
I definitely didn't need the car...still don’t, and never will. I bought it as a 'fun' car for my wife. I have a pair of mustangs and a Cummins pickup to get me around.

My wife had just a Ford Focus with 120K miles. We bought a limited coupe for her as a 'fun' car, and then saw the price on the SRT's and traded it. This gives her a reliable daily driver (Focus) that gets almost 40 mpg, and a good enjoyable car when she wants to ride in a bit of luxury.

We aren't planning to have kids for another 4-5 years, which will allow us to have it paid off. By then, we'll need an SUV - but we should theoretically have a fairly low-mileage SRT in the garage, still under warranty, and paid for.

That's the plan at least, you never know what life will deal ya.
