Default To Chip or Not to Chip - That is the Question??

I'm relatively new to this Forum so I'm sure this has been answered some time in the past.

I have 2 new 3.2 ltr non-supercharged Crossfires. Both are stick.

Is chipping the ECU going to give me significant gains I can feel in horsepower and/or throttle response?

I've compared various brands of chips and they all seem to claim the same flywheel horsepower and torque gains with some improvement in throttle.
response.

I live in Orange County, California so I have the luxury of going directly to the companies that do the modifications. Let me know if there is a favorite company. Seeing that I do live in California, it is also important that I pass smog.

Regards,
Brian
