Lord, Don't know if you read auto express but, I have noticed a worring trend amoung UK car reporters.
Look at the MG Rover line up. Most of the time they get a favorable review regardless of the car.
Look at the cars. Most of the time it is mix match bag of old tech from other brands like ford and honda. The Rover City is made in India and the reviews on that where Ok. At least as good the XF review.
So I ask myself why? Why can MG Rover base it cars on a larger mix bag of parts and get good reviews While the XF puts together something quite beautiful with good performace and economics but gets slated.
My 2 cents worth; The crossfire is a threat, Chrysler change the rules. A american car company put something together that catches the eye, made a car above the rest and showed Europe what can be done when you use creativeness rather than profit margins.
or Chrysler wont foot the bill for a favorable review on the coupe.
