Jamikest, The chip in the hood was found at the time that I first picked up the car.(at purchase) Wife noticed it. I am not saying the dealer did it, could have been done in transport, at the factory, who knows. Being that I just paid close to ��30k for it the dealer wanted to keep me happy so, they recommended that the hood be replaced.

Took two weeks befor the work was done.

As you are a ASE master tech I would appreicate if you could answer the adjustment problem. If you are facing the car the gap (between fender and hood) on the right is less than on the left. It is visable to the eye so I would say it is about a 1/8 out but, the strange thing is everything line up with the bumper.
