Default Re: About to Buy a Xfire

Done Deal...It is a NOS 2005 white XF LTD Roadster w/ Vanilla leather, 6 speed, 13 miles... sat at Chrysler's holding pen and was just released to sell, 3/36 BTB & 8/80 PTW only a couple of small problems were some crazing and blems on the headlights, and Chrysler is replacing them both, they acknowledge that they have been a problem. And the switchblade key remote has a damaged panic button skin (the red part). The dealer compensated me $200 to replace it, The parts department can order them via your vin and they come cut & programmed to the vehicle for $87, However they are on EBAY uncut / un programmed new for around $29 BIN, I think I will get one of them and change out the damaged housing, and save some money for to go towards lighted sills...
On my journey to PU the car last night in SOCAL, I stopped by 2 Random Chrysler Dealers 1 had 2 '07 new ltd coupes auto, and was not marking them down, The other was Clippinger West Covina Ca, they had a 2005 NOS SRT Roadster auto Grey MSRP sticker $51,XXX Offered me $39k out the door, but passed, A little more off would have motivated me, so if any one is interested and is very talented in effective negotiation skills, give them a call 626 339-3900 Jeff Ellerman (sales Mgr) is a true beauty... The car I mean Not the Mgr... LOL.
Will post some pics, and love the car, thanks for good advice, helped educate me a lot!
...anyone ever taken apart a key fob, if so is there a trick?
