I just re-read the Warranty booklet and it states:
1st Owner & 2nd Owner with Paid Powertrain Transfer
There is nothing said about where you got it.
It also says:
Who Is Covered?
You are covered by the Basic Limited Warranty if
you are a purchaser for use of the vehicle.
I think it would be worth a phone call to Chrysler.
